Great news! Experienced entrepreneur Ethem Emre has officially launched Straetus Türkiye, complete with a brand-new office in Istanbul. A promising step forward—not only for Straetus, but also for entrepreneurs active in this rapidly growing region.

Ethem Emre is a well-known Turkish-Dutch entrepreneur and a pioneer in the personal injury sector. He is best known as the founder and director of Randstad Personenschade, the first and largest personal injury agency in the Netherlands specifically focused on victims with a non-Western background. He is also the founder and chairman of the Netherlands Turkish Trade Foundation (NTTF). His work centers on bridging cultural differences in the legal and business worlds, with a strong focus on relations between the Netherlands and Türkiye.
Crijn Janssen, CEO of Straetus International, has expressed great enthusiasm about this expansion. According to him, Türkiye is the perfect location to enter a new market. And honestly, if you’re going to start somewhere, why not in a global metropolis like Istanbul, where East and West quite literally meet?
This step also opens the door to the Middle East and the “Turkic states”: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan—an area becoming increasingly important for the Netherlands as a trade partner. For entrepreneurs exploring opportunities there, or already active and struggling with payment risks, this new office will provide a solid foundation and additional security.
In short: a major milestone, new opportunities, and another step towards building a global network that genuinely supports entrepreneurs.
